6), you will divide the total of miles 954 by the 4.5 hours that you traveled and that will give you 212 mph.

7). you divide the total the house cost 111,600 by the sq. ft. which is 1200 which that is going to give you a total of $93. per sq ft.

8).  you take your total cost of the cereal and you divide it by the ounces.  

  • so you will divide 2.88 by 8 oz which will tell you that you are paying .36 cents for each ounce of cereal.  if the you add 4 more ounces at .36 cents a ounce that will give you a total of 1.44
  • if you are paying 2.88 for the 8 ounce box and then you want 4 more ounces it is going to make the total $5.32 for a 12 ounce box
  • when you can just purchase the 12 oz box for a total of 3.60 which is the better value.
