I am not sure what the options are, but consider what words are used in the different options that are available to you. References to death, skeletons, bones, tombs, darkness, fog, fear, suspense, or adjectives that seem dark or creepy in nature are all signs that a passage has an eerie tone. Hopefully this helps.
