Explain the meaning of the line: "Appeasement at Berlin will work out identically with

appeasement at Munich--but in quicker time."

Respuesta :

Answer:

This simply means the adherence to the demands of adolf Hitler at the Munich meeting would help to prevent war.

Explanation:

During the 1938's and after the successful annexation of Austria by the German (lead by Adolf Hitler ), the Germans looked towards  Czechoslovakia as a result of the majority of german people living inside that country. He was prepared to go to war if his demands were not met.

This led to British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, Hitler, Daladier, and Italian dictator Benito Mussolini met in Munich on september 29 where a written plan was accepted as Munich Agreement. This agreement helped the Allies State to prevent war at the moment while also affording them the time needed to prepare their military for any enventualities.

Adopting the same approach used in Munich would definetly work at Berlin if such situation comes up again.

The meaning of the line "Appeasement at Berlin... allowed Hitler to expand and invade its neighbor countries in 1930s.

Appeasement at Berlin and Munich

Appeasement at Berlin was introduced by Prime Minister Chamberlain to avoid war in Europe.

In the 1930s, the policy allowed Germany under Adolf Hitler to expand its territory unchecked.

Munich Agreement permitted German annexation of the Sudetenland between Germany, Italy, Great Britain and France.

Thus, we can conclude that both the policies meant the same as they allowed Germany territorial expansion in Europe without any halt.
