5x²+7x = 6

5x²+7x-6 = 0

Δ = 49 - (4*5*-6)

Δ=  49 - (-120)

Δ=  49+120

Δ=169    and √169 = 13   and  -√169 =   -13

Δ≥ 0  so the  equation has two roots in R  

s1 :  ( -7 +13) /10 =  6/10 =  3/5

s2 =  (-7-13)/10 = -20/10 = -2
