1. Mitochondrion. Respiration. The mitochondria in our cells is the site of cellular respiration, the process where glucose is broken down with the help of oxygen to release energy.
2. Chloroplast. Photosynthesis. Chloroplasts trap light energy for photosynthesis, and so are the sites of photosynthesis, the process where light energy is converted into chemical energy in the form of sugars, such as glucose.
3. Mitochondria. Without mitochondria, cellular respiration wouldn’t be possible because this is the organelle where cellular respiration occurs.
4. Chloroplasts- They are the site of photosynthesis.
Cell wall- Plant cells have a cell wall made of cellulose, which supports the cell.
A large, central vacuole-Plant cells have a large, central vacuole whereas animal cells only have small, temporary vacuoles.
