An event I find intersting in history, was the Jamestown Colony. The question I would like answered about that topic is, how did some of them even survive as long as they did? Well, the answer I think it would be is they fount whatever they could to eat and drink. A lot of the colonists died during the 'Starving Time' because they were starving and stole food from the Indians. The Indians blockaded the fort, so they could not go out to hunt safely. Most of them starved to death. They ate rubber and whatever else they could find. Some even dug up the dead bodies to eat.
