Yes and no. If you're interested in politics then you can focus on it as much as you want, but I feel kids under the age of 12 at least shouldn't be involved with politics at all. The older you get the more you hear about politics and personally I feel like I can't ever escape politics. Politics is a very stressful subject and is something kids shouldn't have to worry about. Even if you're older than 12 like I said, it's still ok to stay out of it(which is what I personally try to do.)
