Britain did many actions that couldn't be rightfully justified, hence the Founding Fathers rebelling, actions of which included "taxation without representation" a forced "Quartering Act" and since the Founding father were influenced by the Enlightenment movement, it could be said that Britain also failed to defend the natural rights of Americans, this is also not including many other actions from the British Government of which should remain unnamed for now.
