I believe this is a beginning to racial diversity in important positions in office making it one step closer to equality in america. However, this may bring a step back towards racial equality. If she doesn't prove herself as a successful or good vice president than that would make people hesitate to whether or not black and asian americans should get important positions in office. But I believe she would do a great job in office creating representation and a good name towards black and asian americans, giving them a step forward to equality.
