Inherited Trait. A trait that is passed down to us from our parents or other relative, like grandparents. It is passed down through genes. Mutation. A random error/change in DNA sequence.
Inherited traits are the ones which have passed on from the parents to the children and can go on passing to the coming future generations as well. Traits are the physical characteristics expressed when specific allele of specific gene is present.
