Answer: it depends on how much time you already have. If it’s 25 minutes or more, that’s probably the right amount of time. 15 minutes or less, that’s way too little. Here are some effects on rushed lunch time:

1: eating too fast can cause obesity and health problems

2: kids have no time to socialize if they do want to eat

3: the kids who choose talking to friends over eating won’t have enough time to finish, and they’ll be underweight

4: lots of food goes to waste
