The Declaration of Independence is separated into four sections. The first section begins with the Declaration of Natural Rights which explains the "natural" rights all people are born with and have until further notice. This is then followed by the Preamble in which the colonists justify their right to rebel. Next would be the List of Grievances which lists all of the ways in which King George III failed to protect the rights of the colonists. The document finally ends with the Resolution of Independence which then officially declares that the colonies are separating from England and then becoming an independent country. Hope this helped!
