Can anyone think of a problem/story that will fit the equation:
0.9(x+5)=27
I already found the answer for x I just need a story/problem to go with it.
Lucy had a total of 0.9 pieces of a cookie, her friend gypsy gave her x pieces of a cookie and her other friend Jacob gave her 5 pieces of a cookie. What does the letter X stand for in this problem?
