An example of a paradox can be seen when Georgina claims that danger means nothing to her.

We can arrive at this answer because:

Georgiana has a birthmark on her face.

She feels very bad about this mark because it hurts her self-esteem and makes her sad and embarrassed.

For that reason, she insisted that her husband do anything that would allow her to remove that mark from her face.

She doesn't mind that it's dangerous, because, to her, the danger has no meaning as long as she gets rid of the birthmark.

This is an example of a paradox because it allows two opposing concepts to be presented together. Danger means something very serious, but Georgiana says it doesn't mean anything.
