This last stanza speaks of how he rushed to his own defense. It his different because the other stanzas speak of regret or realization of the wrongness of fighting. The last stanza shows how he fought anyways. Therefore, showing how it is different from the other stanzas. The tones basically shifts switching from realizations to aggressiveness.
