The genes which are associated with these conditions are located on the X chromosomes, and one of the two sex chromosomes. In males only one X chromosome , one altered copy of gene in each cell is sufficient to cause the condition.

Hemophilia is a sex -linked recessive disorder in which the abnormal gene responsible for hemophilia is carried on the X chromosome. A female those who has a defect in one X chromosomes is carried of hemophilia . Then she passed to her children.
