Political socialization is the process by which individuals learn and frequently internalize a political lens framing their perceptions of how power is arranged and how the world around them is (and should be) organized.
Public opinion is influenced by family, religion, personal values, the values of people you trust, and money. Additionally, attitudes, ideologies, partisanship, acquiring opinions, information, and framing all contribute to the forming of public opinion.
