To answer this question, I'd make a ratio. Since feet depend on second, it'd be 1.8 ft. : 1 second. 

Then, divide 270 by 1.8 and then multiply the one second by the answer to get the amount of feet.

In this case, 270/1.8 = 150 * 1 second = 150 seconds it'd take to travel 270 feet.
