1)his credibility. credibility means how much you can trust or believe something. Now if a leader is dishonest will you believe or trust him? Maybe he's dishonest in his business and that's why he's super rich. And that you're dishonest doesn't really stop you from being a bit generous to others. Now his legality could be in danger but a leader could lie without breaking any rules or laws. He could trick you into believing something, and that wouldn't be breaking the law or any rules. He would just say it was your fault for not understanding.
