Sponges, members of the Porifera, might be the simplest multicellular animals on Earth. They do not have any tissues, organs, or organ systems. In order for sponges to have evolved, what MUST have happened first?

Respuesta :

the evolution of cells with nuclei and organelles

Answer:

  • Sponges are termed to be the most simple of multi-cellular organisms, as there are no specific form of  organs that contribute to the over all structure of the organisms, as there is an tube form of vessels inside the organism's body.
  • While, the nutrients and other essential materials are exchanged and transported from one part of the organism to the other on the mechanism of diffusion or differences inside the potentials of the material ans solvents.
  • While, there are specialized form of cells that help in the over all formation of a much differentiated form of body for the living organism. As, these cells help in the defense mechanism and  creation of the much complex for the driving the different functions inside the sponges body. Some of the cells are chanocytes, parocytes etc.
