We have to create a chart of values in order to graph this line and find at least two possible solutions:
Assume [tex]x=-1[/tex]
Solve for y.
[tex]y=-6(-1)[/tex]
Multiply.
[tex]y=6[/tex]
(x=-1, y=6)
Assume [tex]x=1[/tex]
Solve for y.
[tex]y=-6(1)[/tex]
Multiply.
[tex]y=-6[/tex]
(x=1, y=-6)
Now you can plot these coordinate points. Connect them with a ruler and you graphed this equation! Don't forget to add arrows at the end of the line!
