to get the median, you have to write out every number, how many ever times it appears and cross them out from the side to get to the middle number. Essentially the median is the middle number. if there are 2 middle numbers, add together and divide by 2

The middle number or the median of this data is 3.

To find the mean, add all of these numbers together and then divide them by the number of all the data points, which is 20.

54 ÷ 20 = 2.7. 2.7 is the mean.
