If you are a driver under the age of 21 with a breath or blood alcohol level of 0.05 or higher, you will be required to attend a substance abuse course.
In Florida, your license is going to be revoked if you are found guilty of driving while you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other controlled substances. The driving privilege will be suspended for six months if a driver under the age of 21 has a breath or blood alcohol level of 0.02 or higher when he/she is stopped by law enforcement. Parents or legal guardians are notified about the driver's evaluation result when the driver is under the age of 19. When the alcohol level is 0,08 or higher, the driver can be convicted. Even worse, the person's driving privilege will be suspended for a year, if he/she refuses to take the alcohol test.
