The agricultural revolution began in great Britain because of 5 factors;
1) an agrarian revolution beginning in the 1700's changed agricultural practices. Expansion of farmland, good weather, improve transportation, and new crops such as the potato increased food supply.
2) with increased food supply, population grew
3) Britain had a plentiful supply of money (capital) to invest in new machines and factories.
4) Britain had plentiful natural resources (iron)
5) a supply of markets gave Britain manufacturer's a ready outlet for their goods
