A teacher says she has identified an organism with these characteristics: eukaryotic, multicellular, autotrophic, and a cell wall made of cellulose. Which kingdom is the teacher describing?
Animalia
Protista
Plantae
Eubacteria

Respuesta :

This teacher is talking about a plantae cell. While some of the other answers do share very similar traits, suck as eukaryotic cells, plantar cells are the ONLY cells to have a cell wall made of cellulose. All other types of cells have a membrane, but not a cell wall. So, the answer is plantae. Hope this helps!

The teacher is describing kingdom Plantae.

The kingdom Plantae includes all eukaryotic, multicellular chlorophyll- containg organism commonly called plants. Plants are mainly autotrophic but a few members are partially heterotrophic such as the insectivorous plants or parasites. The plant cells have an eukaryotic structure with prominent chloroplasts and cell wall mainly made of cellulose. Plantae includes algae, bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms and angiosperms.
