In “Mending Wall” the neighbors meet in the spring to repair the wall. One speaker does not see the necessity of the wall, yet he is the one who repairs the wall throughout the year in orderto maintain it. the answer would be irony. this is because you would expect the person that was objecting the wall being built would be the last person to fix it, yet it turned out he did the opposite. I hope this helps!

The Irony is for definition the difference between reality and appearance, there is the verbal irony, where the words said has a different meaning that the literal one, and the situational irony, that is when a situation ends different than the expectations previously settled, in this case we can identify a ‘situational irony’
