Answer:
The correct answer is, The results of this study indicate that the exam group tested lower for the immune system chemicals.
Explanation:
Immune system is simply the defense mechanism of the body. It is a system of the body which fights for the body against the harmful infections or other invaders. This system has a large network of cells, tissues, and organs which work together to protect the body.
Many factors affect the immune system of the human body. Some main factors are Stress, Anxiety, diseases like AIDS, any viral infections, etc. All such things weaken the immune system. And when immune system weakens, the body defense mechanism also weakens and is not fully ready to fight against the infectious organisms which may attack the body.
So when a study was conducted by testing the chemicals levels of the immune system to find the stress effects on a human body immune system, the researchers found that the students who were stressed due to exams had lower level of immune system chemicals as compared to the students who were relaxed on a normal day at college.
The results of this study indicate that college students who were undergoing a stressful series of exams will have a lower immune system. Stress will affect the immune system.
EXPLANATION
The immune system is important for the human body. It is the part of the body that will help us fight viruses back, so we will not get sick. If the immune system is being suppressed in the short-term, it is not dangerous. Yet, if the immune system is being suppressed for a long time, this will cause the body to become vulnerable. Hence, the body will be easier to get sick because of it
To make it easier to understand, let’s use AIDS as an example. AIDS stands for immune deficiency syndrome. If a person lacks immune, then they will be vulnerable to illness. People who suffer from AIDS will be easier to get sick than normal people.
Stress will influence someone’s immune system as well. Stress will make someone easier to get sick since the virus is also easier to get in the body. Stress will make the body have some changes, such as the increased heart rate and the increasing risk of developing heart disorders, such as coronary heart disease (CHD).
Stress will also influence someone’s digestive system. The digestion is inhibited when we experience stress. This will cause a lot of production for gastric ulcers, and this will be destructive to the human’s digestive system.
