This would evaluate to: [tex]\frac{x^{16} * y^2 * z^9}{x^2 * y^2 * z}\\[/tex]
Now because of the rule of division with exponents which is: [tex]x^m/x^n = x^{m - n}[/tex]
Since they are in multiplication, you can use the the rule for each variable.
So here, we apply the rule and get:
[tex]x^{16 - 2} * y^{2 - 2} * z^{9 - 1}[/tex]
2 - 2 = 0 and any real number (except 0) raised to 0 is equal to 1 so we can cancel that off.
[tex]x^{14} * y^{0} * z^{8}[/tex]
and so you finally get:
[tex]x^{14} * z ^ 8 = x^{14}z^8[/tex]
