Why did most people within the Byzantine and Persian empires accept Islam so easily?

Islam is a religion of peace. When they invaded the Byzantine and Persian empires, they were given options to accept Islam and in return, they won't be discriminated in any means, including their role in government. In addition, they were promised to be given all the rights which Islam allows for the Muslims and the other religions as well. Being influenced by the sympathy and equality in Islam, both these nations entered into the religion and played their roles in the government as well.

The Islamic Empires typically practiced religious toleration but there were perks to converting to Islam.

The Byzantine Empire was conquered by the Ottomans and the Persian Empire was conquered by the Safavid Empire. These two Muslim empires had similar policies regarding differing religions in their empires. Both allowed other religions to exist and be practiced but they were unable to work in government positions and in some cases were taxed extra. The government positions offered the best benefits in the empire and were a means to get an education. consequently many chose to convert to Islam to benefit form the societal and economic conditions provided to Muslims.
