Technically, there are 26 amendments; however, the constitution has 23 amendments, and the parliament did not approve three of them since they collapsed.
The Pakistani Constitution, commonly referred to as the 1973 Constitution, was drafted by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. On 14 August 1973, it was ratified.

The Eighth (1985), Seventeenth(2004) and Eighteenth Amendment, passed in 2010, was by far the most significant amendment to the Constitution.

The twenty-fifth amendment, which was the most recent, added the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
