As the United States expanded in the nineteenth century, American literature became increasingly diverse, representing many experiences, regions, peoples, and viewpoints. Did the varying (sometimes contradictory) nature of American literature at this time increase or diminish the stories’ impact on readers? Why?

Respuesta :

It increased the stories' impacts, since it gave more readers the ability to see the world from those varying points of view. By simply having information out in the mainstream that gave voice to those who were from differing regions, literature became much more influential and essential to our culture.
